Unplug and explore literacy, STEAM, and nature all summer long!
Summer Experience encourages people of all ages to enjoy books, explore science, and discover new adventures all summer long. There is no cost to participate.
This year’s youth program offered self-paced reading, STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and math) and nature activities paired with adventure kits. These kits were designed for three different age groups – little ones 5 and younger, elementary-aged kids, and tweens and teens in middle and high school. Participants received an adventure booklet and a bag of STEAM materials/tools for exploring.
Outdoor Summer Early Literacy Classes
